Bug Description
I found a lot of other bug reports, but they all seemed to have different reasons/solutions so I am reporting it as a new bug. I am using Jaunty on a Compaq C300 laptop. Suspend works fine, but when trying to resume, it will show the log-in dialog and mouse pointer and wait for password with a blinking cursor. The keyboard and touchpad goes totally unresponsive (not even caps-lock works). The password timer expires and the screen goes blank again. At this point, the only thing I can do is hit the power button, which shuts the PC down, and after that I can boot back up.
PS. it seems that on some very rare occasions, the keyboards/touchpad actually works, and I CAN resume and work normally. But it is very rare indeed, and for no apparent reason.
