I encountered this when upgrading from 8.10 to 9.04 (32bit)

The release notes for Ubuntu 9.04 contain a workaround for "Tracker index corruption" under "Other known issues".

This workaround will fail if the package tracker-utils is not installed.

The package tracker-utils may not be installed even though package tracker is installed.

I confirm, this command fails. I hope the real fix for tracker is released soon.
