Bug Description

After upgrading my system from 8.10 to 9.04 I now have a timeout of approximately 12 seconds during boot time. This delay appears right after the following string is displayed onscreen:

" checking if image is initramfs... it is "

My system is an AOpen MiniPC MP965-DR [1].

It's a Mini-ITX rig with the Intel GM965 chipset.

$ uname -a
Linux syrinx 2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04
