Bug Description

Just upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 the Jaunty Jackalope from Ubuntu 8 and cannot control sound (up/down/mute) from keyboard on a IBM ThinkPad R51. Had no previous problems before upgrade. Sound control worked by default on previous installation.

Sound works ok, can be turned up or down from the Gnome Panel.
