Bug Description

Special keys of Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo pi 3540 doesn't work correctly. This is of the control of sound. The notify crashes and the sound is going to madly.

same laptop, same problem.
In order to stop the notify that goes from mute to max over and over again, I press the function Key of brightness

I'm analyzings bugs related to this issue:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/390295
that i'm going to mark as duplicate of :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/293642
because they reports same symptoms.
Probably this is the same bug as 293642.
So I ask you if you can confirm this issue in Lucid version ?
And if you can reproduce the instruction of the last post and verify the the issue ( i cannot reproduce )
