Bug Description

I tried 9.04 as a live-cd (beta version) but it doesn't work. Starting up is allright until the desktop must show. Then the screen goes black and there is no interaction at all possible. The only thing to do is turning off the PC. I did not and do not have that problem with 8.10 or 8.04.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information.

Next time this happens, can you switch to a text console by hitting
CTRL + ALT + F1, login there, and then run
sudo apport-collect -l linux 361960

thanks
