Bug Description

Appearently eeepc 901 monitor is lying about its edid and fonts appears huge by default.
I have to force 96 dpi to have a usable system. The resolution of the screen is 1024x600 and, according to my misures, it's 19,6x 11,5 cm long
/var/log/Xorg.0.log reports:
[0.552126] (II) intel(0): clock: 50.4 MHz Image Size: 195 x 113 mm
AND
[ 13.629204] (II) intel(0): Max Image Size [cm]: horiz.: 19 vert.: 11
so it seems to be mostly correct...

Do I have to look somewhere else?
