Confusing Hewlett Packard printer drivers categories

Using Ubuntu Dapper FL5, Gnome desktop

When adding or configuring printers information, there are two categories covering Hewlett Packard printers: HP and HP (HPLIP). This is confusing and counter-intuitive.

This is somewhat related to Bug #24999 , however this is about having two entirely different *categories* of printer drivers, which is confusing, not to mention having drivers present in one category but not in the other as stated in Bug #24999.

A better aproach may be to combine both categories or else, although I don't know the reasons for having a separate HPLIP category to begin with.

I don't see what this has to do with udev ... reassigning somewhere near the GNOME printing UI.

Tested again with Dapper Beta (post Flight 6), there's only one category now (HP).

So, can someone please close this, tx.!
