Jaunty network does not connect in VirtualBox 2.1.2

I'm trying to install Ubuntu Jaunty Alpha4 (or Alpha3) in VirtualBox 2.1.2. My host machine is amd64 Ubuntu Intrepid. I am able to install Ubuntu Intrepid as a guest OS and the network connection works fine. However, with the exact same setup (wiping Intrepid and replacing it with Jaunty) I cannot get networking to work correctly. I cannot access the internet with Firefox and I cannot check for updates. Strangely, I CAN ping google.com. I just can't get to it from Firefox.

Any help would be appreciated. Of course, I know you'll need more info, I just don't know what to provide. I've got some stuff here. Let me know what else you need:

Marking this invalid. I no longer have this problem as of Jaunty Alpha 5.
