Thanks for submitting your bug, can I ask why your installing gutsy? I have successfully used this image for intrepid on my PS3: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/8.10/release/ubuntu-8.10-alternate-powerpc+ps3.iso ?
If you go to: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/7.10/release/ you have this huge warning about how you need to immediately upgrade because of vulnerable encryption keys... I would just get the 8.10 image instead. http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/8.10/release/ < ---- here is the 8.10 release page.

Also did you do and md5sum check to make sure you're cd is good to go?

Thank you for your support. I gonna try the intrepid image. I was installing
Gutsy because I saw in other forum. But I have tried already Gutsy Desktop
and alternate without success.

Sorry, I marked this invalid, and then navigated off the page without saving. It took my invalidation. Marcio please let us know if this should be re-opened, I think that f you did try intrepid using the link that I used you will have it installed without issue. Please let us know if this isn't the case, be re-opening it and adding some helpful comments, Thanks.

@Marcio: If you could let us know if this is still an issue, please do so. Also if this is the case, as explained, please try with the latest Ubuntu release (Karmic Koala 9.10). Thank you.
