Bug Description

While using gswitchit-plugins, principally I switch between 2 keyboard variants:

Italy - Italy (default) to Italy - Georgian, then indicator changes from "Ita" to "Ita2".
In the same way there is no Flag change, when used gswitchit-plugins.
The flag remains Italian, for Ita and Ita2.

The flags are chosen based on the ISO country code. There is no way to distinguish Ita from Ita2 for a moment. But you're welcome to contribute a patch to take the variant name into account;)

Hi Sergey!

I can confirm that this bug exists in version 1.0 of gswitchit-plugins. I've built it on Hardy from your source package in PPA.
Everything compiles and installs fine, but it won't change layouts/switch flags when clicking on the applet's flag. Thus I have to rightclickin' the applet, and then to choose the kbd layout. Why?

Can you provide me with an advice? I really need this working, because I should be able to switching fast between hu, ro and us kbd layouts.

Thanks in advance.
