"Add repository...." dialog comes up, repo: Dapper, main and restricted are checked.
click "cancel" dialog closes. good.
"+Add" again
click "OK" - button responds to click, but dialog doesn't close. space bar and enter have similare effect - bad.
click Custom - dialog opens "enter the complet APT line..."
Note: Window has no title. |

E: Malformed line 29 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (dist)
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Please examine and fix line 29 of your /etc/apt/sources.list - it probably has a bad character in it. This is not an ubuntu bug, if the user has typed in the wrong repository. |
