Bug Description

Hello, i heard that ubuntu lacks iphone support, i found a program wich will enable it, please look up to this.

Thank you for reporting this bug. Luckily, packages for this software appear to exist in Debian already. Ubuntu has semi-automatic tools to sync new packages from Debian so it will most likely appear in the next Ubuntu release.

iFuse is at the moment the only piece of software wich can get the Iphone with firmware 2.xx at a legal way connented, other software supports to hack the Iphone, I won''t do this so as long as there is no real Iphone support, in ubuntu i have no other choose then use also Windows.

Although it won't be included as a part of synaptic for some time, there is no reason why you wouldnt be able to download and install the file yourself. For example, http://debian.cs.binghamton.edu/debian/pool/main/i/ifuse/ clicking on the appropriate .deb file for your architecture will invoke the Gdebi installer and install the package. iFuse is still very much beta and you are correct, Ubuntu can not support this package. However, you can obtain support from the people who created iFuse itself.
