Bug Description

Freshly installed Ubuntu 8.10 on HP Pavilion 6745us. System "hangs" both during boot from CD for install, as well as after install and requires a keyboard button to be pressed 15-20 times for system to fully boot. Afterwards, system works fine. Did not have issue on same laptop with 8.04

Upgraded to kernel 2.6.27-7 after install to get wireless working. First "hang" occurs at this point:

[2.769357] ehci_hcd 000:00:02:1: irq 22, io mem 0xf6489000
[173.715760] Clocksource tsc unstable (delta = 4398045220368 ns)

Laptop hardware:

HP DV6745us
AMD Turion x2 TL-60
2x2048Mb DDR2-667
Atheros 5007 wireless
NVIDIA 7150 video (using driver 173)

Again, issue occured when booting from LiveCD as well as after install. Any further logs needed let me know
