Bug Description
I have 2 sound output devices on my laptop - 1 built in (Sigmatel) and 1 USB sound output (C-Media USB).
I have nicely configured in the sound preferences to have all the sound coming out from the C-Media USB device and it works nicely until I send the computer to sleep.
Once it resumes, audio will instead come out from the Sigmatel output, even though all the options in Sound Preferences are set to C-Media USB.
At first I thought it was a program fault (happened first with VLC) and I filed a bug report with VLC. And I decided to switch to amaroK meanwhile. Then I sent the computer to sleep again and now amaroK only outputs to my Sigmatel device!
I ran Totem and sound nicely comes out from my C-Media USB device.
What went wrong here?
Thanks!
(Running Ubuntu 8.10 and latest versions of VLC and amaroK)
