Wubi stops its installation, it needs a safe graphics mode installation.

I was able to install Ubuntu 8.10 in safe graphics mode (complete installation), but I couldn't install Ubuntu 8.10 with Wubi.

I have a monitor HP w2207.

Intel Corporation 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)

The default monitor resolution is 1680x1050, 60 Hz

We have the same problem, but with the install cd (no windows).

chitel, since you are reporting on the issue with your 82845G not working with the kernel, you should test it with the latest version and create a new bug against the linux package.
