pppoeconf disables auto wireless

Bug Description
If you create a pppoe connection from Ibex (full release and RC) using pppoeconf via wireless, it adds entries in the /etc/network/

pre-up /sbin/ifconfig wlan0 up # line maintained by pppoeconf <-- added

auto wlan0 <-- added

This results in the wireless not discovering any wireless access points or being able to connect (either with dhcp or static) using other tools such as wifi-radar. I could still discover access points manually.
Once I deleted the three lines the wireless worked fine.
