Bug Description

I can't install Ubuntu 8.10 inside Windows Vista Home Premium. While it is creating an image, it goes to 99.9% or 100% and then says that is cannot access the disc. My laptop DVD-RW drive is a Pioneer DVR-K17RS ATA Device. I had the same problem with Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS and the MD5Sums matched. I can boot into the live CD and it runs, but the wireless card (Atheros AR5007EG) does not work and I only have 800 x 600 screen resolution instead of 1280 x 800 with my video card (NVIDIA GeForce 7000M). My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5520-5912.
