No sound in Flash videos, nor in Skype

Bug Description

After I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10, I can't hear sound in Flash videos, anymore. Also, I can't make nor accept calls in Skype, which reports "audio playback problem".

Are you using PulseAudio or ALSA in System->Preferences->Sound?
