I had Ubuntu Hardy Heron yesterday. I made an upgrade to Intrepid Ibex. Everything was working perfectly except one thing, the computer doesn't poweroff after a proper Ubuntu shutdown. The screen still black and the computer stay on.
I don't have any more informations, there was nothing in the /var/log/syslog.
Now I installed a fresh copy of Intrepid Ibex and everything works perfectly.

I installed a fresh copy of Intrepid Ibex this morning on my Eee PC 900. When I shutdown Ubuntu, the laptop won't turn off. I have a black screen, and the Power light is on. I must hold the power button 5 seconds to turn it off. |
