scim will not activate

Bug Description

I can no longer activate scim. When I use gedit (or any other program that uses gtk::Textview), errors like this spit out while type or moving the cursor around.

Ah, left out important info. I'm running the Intrepid Beta and this bug appeared after a recent update.
