Bug Description

Release: 8.10
Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)

The eject command (or the eject button) causes the tray to eject and retract immediately. A second invocation of the eject command or button will eject the tray only.

Subsequent executions of eject appear to work correctly until a different CD/DVD is mounted in which case it goes back to the same double-eject behavior the first time after inserting a new disc.

Same behaviour here on Kubuntu Intrepid, fully updated.

I'm seeing this behavior in Nautilus, and with the Eject button as well.

Same behavior with Xubuntu Intrepid x86-64 (Stable version). Pressing eject button or issue command "Eject volume" in Thunar both cause CD tray to retract right after CD ejection.
