Bug Description

Well, all said in one line. My installation of Dapper has its root on a LV-drive. It works fine. Since I own an ATI-Graphics-Card and try to use it fully, the computer remains unusable when I try to log out of X. A hard reset is neccessary.

The problem, if I get it correctly, is: after reboot, neither cupsys nor networking is working.

My guess: probably the filesystem-check takes too long; during that time the filesystem is in read-only-mode, as far as I know, and the cupsys and networking scripts fail to complete. I can manually restart networking, but cupsys fails with status 15.

After a normal reboot, with a clean filesystem, everything works as expected.
