Description:
The Korsakow-System creates videos from a database of videos, and assembles them according to rules created by the user.
* They are interactive - the viewer has influence on the film.
* They are rule-based - the author decides on the rules scenes relate to each other, he does not create a fixed order.
* They are generative - the order of the scenes is calculated while the viewer looks at a Korsakow-project.
* Korsakow-projects can only be viewed on a computer. They are delivered via internet-streaming, DVD-Rom or CD-Rom.
The system uses several components -
* Korsakow , the main video creator engine
* Korsakow web engine, lets you publish online
* Korsakow Handbook
* Korsakow subtitle tool
* Korsakow Mac engine for publishing CDs and DVDs

Note this system works on Apple Macs, and may need some extra effort to work on Linux.

License:
Not open source due to use of Adobe Flash.
But it is Free.

Note:
If an alternative open source flash player can be used (may require some programming skills), then the program may well be able to be made open source.
Open source flash players exist.
