Bug Description

these two libraries (not yet in the archive) are needed for current gcc-snapshot builds:

libppl:
Description: Parma Polyhedra Library (runtime library)
The Parma Polyhedra Library (PPL) is a C++ library for the
manipulation of (not necessarily closed) convex polyhedra and other
numerical abstractions. The applications of convex polyhedra include
program analysis, optimized compilation, integer and combinatorial
optimization and statistical data-editing. The Parma Polyhedra
 Library is user friendly (you write `x + 2*y + 5*z <= 7' when you
mean it), fully dynamic (available virtual memory is the only
limitation to the dimension of anything), written in standard C++,
exception-safe, rather efficient and thoroughly documented.

cloog-ppl:
Description: the Chunky Loop Generator
CLooG is a software which generates loops for scanning Z-polyhedra. That is,
CLooG finds the code or pseudo-code where each integral point of one or more
parametrized polyhedron or parametrized polyhedra union is reached. CLooG is
designed to avoid control overhead and to produce a very efficient code.

Ack from me. We need to be able to have gcc snapshot kept up to date.

Confirmed then (obviously, I expect that the cloog-ppl FTBFS will be addressed).
May I ask what is the plan with the package already in sid (http://packages.debian.org/source/sid/ppl); will it be removed?
Just asking since http://ftp-master.debian.org/new/libppl_0.10~pre24.dfsg-1.html seems to conflict with it.

ppl currently is not in intrepid (and the debian version is too old to be used for GCC); we'll address this for intrepid+1. for now, I asked to blacklist ppl so that it is not automatically synced.
