tangoGPS is an easy to use map and gps application for desktop, laptop and smaller devices like eeePC. By default it uses openstreetmap maps, openaerial satellite imagery and maps-for-free topographical maps. Maps can be downloaded for offline use, and it works well without gps too.

Already packaged in Debian.

Either needs a feature freeze exception or will be imported automatically during the next release cycle.
