Bug Description

Binary package hint: imagemagick

There are actually two different interfaces for php to ImageMagick

The newest interface is called imagick -- it is an object oriented interface, it is already available in Hardy.

However the original interface for php is called MagickWand, it is an api oriented interface. This interface is not currently available in Hardy.

The imagick interface is very recent; a lot of php programs were written using the older MagickWand interface. Therefore it would be really good if this could be added to Hardy.

License:
ImageMagick is free software delivered as a ready-to-run binary distribution or as source code that you may freely use, copy, modify, and distribute. Its license is compatible with the GPL.
