Description:
Supports button devices detected as PNP0C32 (Direct App Launch) under Linux allowing you to start your computer and quickly launch applications without having to load the entire system. This is similar to Vista's Hostart(TM) technology.

This is the proper solution for making Hot Start buttons work with Ubuntu, so I think this bug qualifies as a bug and not in a wish list. This enables Vista-powered laptops to trigger some actions or to launch some apps when they are off.

This doesn't work on my Toshiba Qosmio F60. The Front Panel LED buttons do not light up at all.
