Bug Description

I use a coolpix 2000 camera since some years now. I used it with feisty and used it with gutsy. The any update in the last weeks disabled the ability to mount the camera any more.
It is recognized, but before really mounting it it outputs: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address xy

My dmesg is

I assume that it is a kernel bug, because some time in February the 2.6.22 was rolled out - and that might have been the time when my camera stopped working.

Obviously it is not https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.22/+bug/134477, as already discussed there.

Is there any solution to this despite updating to hardy?

as panchenko states on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/134477 this bug still exists and therefore it seems to be a duplicate on 134477
