Bug Description

Some of the functions provided by TPB (a program to allow on-screen display of
events when Thinkpad buttons are pressed)
will not work under both standary Hoary installs and Breezy previews. In
particular, volume adjustment requires write access
to /dev/nvram, which is not provided under default configurations on either of
these distros. My workaround for the time
being is to add all users to the nvram group. Should nvram allow write access as
its default or is this too dangerous?
