USB Hard drives add a "_" in the /media/ name

Bug Description

Everytime i plug in my USB hard drive, at reboot it changes name adding a "_".
For example:
/media/disk
became
/media/disk_
and than
/media/disk__

on ubuntu hardy

This happens to me as well, in Hardy, though it happens with other USB disks that are not hard drives, such as flash-based drives.
