Bug Description
All of a sudden getting this error with ubuntu 20.04.
ERROR: ld.so: object '/lib/libgcwrap.so' from /etc/ld.so.preload cannot be preloaded (failed to map segment from shared object): ignored.
Have followed the discussion in this bug: https:/
but in my case I don't have the perfcc malware mentioned.
Don't know exactly what initially triggered the error.
but now I can consistently reproduce it whenever I attempt to run `certbot renew --dry-run`
Also, I see ssl handshake error in nginx error log.
Interestingly ldd /sbin/fsck.ext4 does not show libgcwrap.so in the output, as show below:
linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffd3f5b
libext2fs.so.2 => /lib/x86_
libcom_err.so.2 => /lib/x86_
libblkid.so.1 => /lib/x86_
libuuid.so.1 => /lib/x86_
libe2p.so.2 => /lib/x86_
libc.so.6 => /lib/x86_
libutil.so.1 => /lib/x86_
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/x86_
libdl.so.2 => /lib/x86_
/lib64/
So not sure exactly where libgcwrap.so is coming from.
