Bug Description

I was using UbuntuStudio 23.10 with no issues. When I updated to 24.04, on my first boot of the new OS, the system hung with a black screen just before the login screen. I completely deleted the original image, reinstalled UbuntuStudio 24.04, and tried again. It worked until I installed Steam, then I had the same issue. I deleted and tried again with Kubuntu 24.04. It worked the first time, but failed when I installed wine. I then found a bug report with what seemed to be the exact problem, but the bug report requested all people with this issue to file a separate bug report with a kernel log. The kernel log is attached.

System:
Kubuntu 24.04, fully patched as of 2024 June 3 7PM CDT
AMD Ryzen 7700X processor
AMD 6700 video card
ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS motherboard

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Libera.chat.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2067972/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.
