gnome shell segfault in 23.10 after starting video playback

Bug Description

Any hardware accelerated playback of video files causes shell to crash back into gdm

Crashes are happening in telegram-desktop (Flatpak) built-in video player, and Clapper (deb), but not happening in Firefox on wayland (Flatpak)

[ 454.452464] gnome-session-b[1997]: segfault at 7f3a9fd60ad4 ip 00007f3d82038c41 sp 00007ffc981243e8 error 4 in[7f3d8200d000+34000] likely on CPU 6 (core 3, socket 0)

Ubuntu 23.10, updated from 23.04
