Bug Description

During development of Ubuntu, before a version is considered 'released', there are daily-live arm64 .iso images made available.

However, once a release is out and the download repo moves to cdimage.ubuntu.com/[ubuntu or ubuntu-server]/releases/ there is no longer a generic .iso file available.

For example, it's not possible to find 'kinetic-desktop-arm64.iso'.
Before the 22.10 release it was available at https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/kinetic-desktop-arm64.iso.

However, there is now no 'kinetic-desktop-arm64.iso' available in the release's download folder:
https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/releases/kinetic/release/

Likewise, there is no 'jammy-desktop-arm64.iso' available in the release's download folder:
https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/releases/jammy/release/

In other words, it would be preferred that this URL does not 404:
i.e. https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/releases/kinetic/release/kinetic-desktop-arm64.iso

Can we please have [release]-desktop-arm64.iso and [release]-server-arm64.iso be made available with the rest of the 'Released' bits?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Libera.chat.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1998238/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

These images did not meet the criteria for inclusion in the releases in question; and we will not add them to the releases after the fact. It is up to the Desktop Team to determine when they are ready to try to include these images in a future release.
