Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to help make Ubuntu better.

However, it seems that you are not using a software package, i.e. Google Chrome, which is provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. Please report this issue to the provider of Google Chrome.

However, do you see the same errors when using Firefox, Chromium or GNOME Web which may already be installed on your Ubuntu system?

affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) → ubuntu

status: New → Incomplete

TNX Paul,
the problem sort of has corrected itself
I have a question about version 22.04.1 LTS, I have it installed in my
partition BUT, it lacks a lot of features 20.04.3 LTS has, like previewing
pictures you want to add to email. And all the new features make me feel
like it is windows 11, and the installed file is so mega large with things
I don't need.
how do I turn off the message to install 22.04.1, because I already have it
installed in my partition
Cheers Mike

Hello Mike, thanks for your reply. I'll close this as 'Invalid'.

For me, 22.04 acts pretty much like 20.04 so not sure what the problem is. May be systematically compare the settings of each installation application by application? There shouldn't be any great difference.

To turn off upgrade prompts you'll find a setting in 'Software & Updates' on the 'Updates' tab. Change the bottom drop-down to 'Never'.

Changed in ubuntu:
status: Incomplete → Invalid
