Bug Description
File::KDBX - Encrypted database to store secret text and files
The File::KDBX module allows Perl programs to operate on the
newest, KDBX4 file format, used by programs like KeePass and
KeePassXC.
I (Lester Hightower) am the author of kpcli, which is packaged
in many distributions, including Ubuntu. Since inception, kpcli
has used File::KeePass to manage KeePass files, but File::KeePass
only supports KDBv1 and KDBX3 files. File::KeePass is also
stagnant and has been for many years. The most requested feature
for kpcli is KDBX4 support, and also has been for many years. In
late April, Charles McGarvey released File::KDBX and I have enhanced
kpcli to use it. I am now releasing "beta" versions of kpcli
that support KDBv1, KDBX3 and KDBX4 files, and anticipate making
a production release fairly soon.
