Bug Description
The screen sometimes randomly becomes green and has a fade-away effect for everything I move (windows, cursor etc). As randomly it fixes itself. I could not find any trigger.
When the screen is pink and while I am in the login screen I can see as a soft green underlay/overlay the desktop.
The pink and fixed periods are anywhere between few minutes to a day.
External monitors work fine.
Restarts do not help.
I reinstalled xserver-
The laptop has been opened and tinkered with recently (not by me) for a battery change + HDD change + dusting off the internal parts.
My laptop's screen is a touch screen.

It sounds like you might have a loose display connection but please attach a photo of the problem so we can get a better idea.
Also xserver- xorg-video- intel is not supported anymore (it causes serious bugs on modern hardware), and nor is it used in Wayland sessions anyway.
