Bug Description

When i'm using kate or the terminal (and others but these 2 are the ones that i use the most), if i change between two tabs, it's like i'm now in the new tab but i can't see the new content until i don't select the code and as long as i select every line of code or text, now it appears in the screen.
Also, if i press two times the maximize button, when it comes back to full screen, some parts didn't load and are black and until i don't go over these zones with the mouse, i can't see the real content.

I'm sorry if it's not clear, i'm not english and also it's something dificult to explain...

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Libera.chat.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1976294/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner.

The reported package is 'evince', a GNOME package but the bug description refers to 'kate', a KDE package.

With no response to comment #2 for over a year I'm changing the status to 'Incomplete' pending clarification of the problem that you are seeing (if it still exists of course).

Bug reports need to be assigned to the correct package in order that they are brought to the Ubuntu developer team that can help to resolve any problems that you might be seeing.
