Just wanted to confirm this problem still exists 2 days before the final release. Though I know it is more a Mathematica issue, I still wanted to report it in case it is helpful.
Mathematica is not rendering properly in Hardy. I get this error:
X Error of failed request: RenderBadPicture (invalid Picture parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 155 (RENDER)
Minor opcode of failed request: 7 (RenderFreePicture)
Picture id in failed request: 0x3200035
Serial number of failed request: 12017
Current serial number in output stream: 12252
Running Mathematica using this command:
mathematica -defaultvisual
allows things to work.
