Bug Description
After installing Ubuntu 20.04, the machine reboots and never comes back online - 5 beeps (bios/system board/CPU failure). No video, no access to bios, just the 5 beeps.
Tried changing power supplies with known good one (sometimes the cause of this beep code), using graphics card and onboard video, pulling all peripherals from board and reattaching one by one, restoring BIOS with the .bin file on the root of a small fat32 flash drive. Everything I know how to do with a history of employment in desktop support.
I'm able to replicate this issue consistently on machines fully functional with windows, now with 3 desktops in a row. (I have a source on retired ones from a company) I've found posts about BIOS issues with ~2017 Lenovo but nothing with HP.
Slightly older HP desktops (7900, 8000) and similar vintage HP laptops (6560, 6570, 8470, 650 G1) I've all installed and run with no issues like this.
