Bug Description

Jailkit is a set of utilities to allow quick creation of limited user accounts in a chroot jail. It contains a safe logging daemon, shells that can restrictusers, utilities to start daemons in a chroot jail, and utilities for easy setup of chroot jails.

This is an interesting package because upstream has a debian/. I guess that 'should' make this extremely easy. I'm trying a build of what they have even though it's not lintain clean. We'll see how it goes when this is finished. Perhaps what they have will work perfectly with Ubuntu. I can hope. :)

Wow.... this has some incredibly ugly packaging with some nasty issues. It's taking me a lot longer than expected to get this cleaned up so I can try to do anything with it at all...

OK! It's as clean as I can make it. I sent everything upstream so now I just need to wait for him to get some stuff done. Working together, I imagine we can get this package up to snuff very quickly. From there, inclusion in Debian should be a short process after going through some extra testing. I believe that is the best way for inclusion in Ubuntu.
