Lenovo T420s requires nomodeset to boot Focal Fossa; missing video drivers?

Bug Description

I have had to uninstall Focal Fossa 20.04 (April 2020) and revert back to Ubuntu 19.10 on my Lenovo T420s because the laptop was stuck on purple screen upon `do-release-
I used `nomodeset` to boot the machine but there are no drivers for Lenovo T420s. Here is the result of `lshw -c video`

Has anyone tried to install Ubuntu 20.04 yet? If so, did you run into the above issue?
