CD-ROM icon will not go away

Bug Description
Under "Computer" I have an icon labeled CD-ROM 1 that claims to point to a non existent /dev/scd0. I am using a Lenovo X60 Tablet so there is no CD-Rom. Only the USB external CD-Rom I plug in. When I plug in that I get a new icon (as expected) and I use it normally. There is no icon on the desktop for the CD-ROM 1.
I have since updated my Tablet to Hardy and the problem has disappeared.
