critical issue with ubuntu 6.10

i tried to extract a .iso file by right clicking on it and choose the option to extract here. Then bug report tool appeared and start asking to report bug, when i finished with the bug reporting it prompts again and again in a loop saying that this bug is not known and save its description. This prompt appeared in infinite loop. I restarted my system many times but facing the same problem, when i logs on the same prompt appears and go into infinite loop. Also the toolbars of desktop becomes static and also system get stuck after some time. Its really critical for me at this stage as im working on a project. please send me a fix asap.
