Bug Description
On resume from suspend, the x and y axes of cursor movement driven by an Alps touchpad are inverted - so when I move my finger right, the cursor goes left, and when I move my finger up the cursor goes down (and vice versa). Screen rendering seems a bit slow as well. Symptoms are resolved by suspending and resuming again. I have seen this perhaps 3 times in the past month.

This has now occurred while resuming from suspend on Windows XP SP2. A very quick google led me here: forums. cnet.com/ 5208-7587_ 102-0.html? forumID= 69&threadID= 252612& messageID= 2680747

Apparently this problem is reasonably widespread on Vaios.
I found that disabling the driver, suspending and resuming and re-enabling the driver (i.e. what I'd do under Linux) fixed the problem. Not sure if this is be a buggy BIOS issue? The DSDT is here: http:// ubuntuforums. org/attachment. php?attachmenti d=55725& d=1199819746
