Bug Description

There are many Audio and Webcam issues with Xubuntu 18.10 on Intel Compute Stick STK1A32SC.

To sum it up:
1. After installing Xubuntu 18.10 there's no audio output from the HDMI. This can be fixed though with this script: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hjFK_y4F1wuMI0m_FPABZtMZkf-5vtJO/edit
2. Zoom client does not work with all three things at the same time: a) audio out via HDMI, b) video in from webcam, c) audio in from webcam. Zoom client can be dowloaded from https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting

I have filed a bug report with Zoom and they responded that Xubuntu is not supported.

Problems 1 and 2 go away when Ubuntu 18.10 is used.

Xubuntu is highly preferred over Ubuntu on the STK1A32SC for performance reasons.

The webcam I used was Logitech c930e.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1814370/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Official support for Xubuntu 18.10 ended on July 18, 2019. Are these issues still occurring on Xubuntu 20.04?
