Bug Description
It seems that Ubuntu setup will fail when attempting grub-install to an individual partition under certain circumstances.
The fatal grub-install() error occurs when manually entering a partition into the "Advanced" box that determines where GRUB will be installed. It occures for both (hdx,y) and /dev/sdxy notations.
The full details of this issue (and examples of errors) can be found at this thread: http://
I was hoping to get some verification first before opening a bug report on the issue, but that didn't happen.
