Bug Description
When the PC (desktop) is switched on Ububntun tries to load but stops after displaying a pinkish screen. I tried to do a: sudo apt-get install unity but nothing happened. After that I tried: mv ~/.config ~?>config_backup but again nothing happened. What should I do to get my system working or would you advise me to go back to Windows after being an Ubuntu user for many years. My email that I can access on my wifes laptop is <email address hidden>
I can not follow the Ubuntu bug reporting guidelines because the system is not working. I don't know how this page I am writing on is displayed.
But I need some urgent help. Please please.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
