Bug Description
Testing Lubuntu 18.10, build of 2018-09-17, i386, after booting from DVD a screen to select language appears, with a timeout countdown on the left side of the screen. The numbers in this countdown are displayed without erasing the previous number (and hence quickly become illegible).
The timeout does happen (perhaps after more time than intended), with the installation then proceeding with the default selection.
Hardware is a 32-bit Macbook Pro 1,1 (2006) with 1440x900 display.
